What happens during a session?

Unlike other ‘systems’ no medical history is taken and in fact the successful outcome is dependent upon the practitioner remaining detached and not involving themselves in the problems of the client. It is not necessary to acknowledge or understand what the problem(s) might be. For this reason a practitioner should not offer Metamorphic sessions to a client whom they are treating with another discipline (e.g. Reflexology).
Sessions last just under an hour. The client remains seated and the practitioner works along the spinal reflexes on the feet (20 minutes each foot), hands (5 minutes each hand) and head (5 minutes) in a gentle, almost random way. This has a very soothing and calming effect on the nervous system.
Results may be dramatic as old emotional patterns and behaviours are cleared away or can be slower and more subtle, with the client feeling stronger, clearer and more resolute after the session. However you will not get more than you can handle at any one time. Metamorphosis, as the origin of the name of the technique implies, is a powerful tool for change. Weekly sessions are recommended but clients are recommended to work at their own pace and let their instinct dictate frequency.
